A few things of interest lately....

The Little French Girl who played with Wild Beasts  -  Amazing story and beautiful pictures about a French girl named Tippi (named after Tippi Hedren!) who was raised among the native tribes people of Namibia.

We Think Alone - Sign up to become a part of Miranda July's latest project which involves receiving personal emails (intended to be private) from the inboxes of celebrities.  "Radical self-exposure and classically manicured discretion can both be powerful, both be elegant."  

"We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be."  Currently rereading Mother Night by Kurt Vonnegut.  I have been having such a difficult time reading lately.  My mind is in a million places and I can't sit still long enough to get into a book.  I am hoping that rereading an easy favorite will help get me back into the reading frame of mind.
